PlasmaDyn M50i Series II - Multifunction 50 Amp Air Plasma Cutting Machine with Integrated 180 amp TIG Function & 180 amp Stick Welding capability. The M50i Series II is PlasmaDyns' only Multifunction plasma cutting & welding machine. This is a commercial quality machine and enables the user to save money and space as it combines 3 machines into 1 reliable package. As a Plasma Cutter, this tool is easy to use as it features a HV/HF Plasma arc starting circuit resulting in a plasma arc whose temperature approaches 30,000F (suitable for cutting virtually any metal !!) The same spark gap circuit is used for DC TIG welding using a lower voltage higher current circuit. The stick welding function is ultra convenient as there is no need for gas or complicated setup, just touch and go! the M50i utilizes High Current *TOSHIBA* MOSFET transistors, a fullsize power supply with with four (4) 470uF capacitors (not the usual 3 capacitors that most other inferior machines have). This machine also uses industry standard FR4 epoxy coated circtui boards. Similar looking machines often use cheap fiberglass printed circuit boards. This machine is rated at 5/8" Cutting Capacity and 1/2" clean cut.
